Inspired by passion, pride and Italian football tradition, PUMA designed the new kit paying full attention to the finest details. The high neckband is a tribute to some of the most famous shirts from the past, whose design lives on in this new shirt. The thin vertical lines on the front of the shirt, the sleeves and the back of the shirt recall the traditional pinstripes in Italian fashion. Further notable design elements are the ample sleeves’ cuffs, the golden details on the sleeves and the tricolour detail on both the right and left side of the hems. The Azzurri shirt is accompanied by the traditional white shorts and blue knee-length sockets, which also feature golden details. The new national team shirt also features the PUMA ACTV Thermo-R clothing technology, which has been strategically integrated on both the front and back part of the item of clothing in order to help the players maintain an ideal blood temperature. A unique “phase-change” material has been placed in the shirt and it ensures a management of blood heat through microcapsules, releasing or absorbing it depending on the necessities.
