The poster, made by the kids at the paediatric hospital, hangs next to the changing room at Coverciano to encourage the players.  Further energy to try to push the Azzurri on in their journey to UEFA Euro 2020.  At Italy’s training camp at Coverciano there is now a poster with a particular significance for Mancini’s boys: it was dedicated to the team by children from the Bambino Gesù paediatric hospital.
“Forza Azzurri, we're cheering you on”: the young patients at Bambino Gesù see their poster on show at Coverciano

“Forza Azzurri, we are cheering you on” is the message sent by the young patients, written in big letters on a poster which was handed to the players during the “Notte Azzurra” TV show.

The poster hangs right next to the team’s changing room at Coverciano, such that the Azzurri take to the training pitch with the message from their passionate young fans still in their minds.

“We will take this poster with us to our training camp because these children manage to demonstrate incredible energy despite their circumstances: they are a fantastic example for us,” centre-back Leonardo Bonucci explained during the TV show.

Francesco Acerbi then added: “They have such a strong mentality, which we ought to learn from.”
