The new FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking sees Brazil in the 1st position.  Brazil overtake Belgium, who had been in first place for the past three years but who failed to win against the Republic of Ireland on 26 March ending with a 2-2  draw in a friendly.   Ironically, Italy are in the 6th position, yet, they are out of the FIFA World Cup 2022 after losing the playoffs with North Macedonia.  Imagine, the 6th position out of the World Cup.

Belgium stepped down from the 1st to the 2nd position. France remain in the 3rd position.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published on 23 June 2022.
