As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan has reached a record agreement worth 50 million euros per year with Adidas, which will produce the rossoneri jerseys for ten years starting from 2028.
The rossoneri will change technical sponsor in the 2028-29 season, when Adidas will take the place of Puma.
Details of the agreement between Milan and Adidas
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the deal with the German brand will last ten years, from 2028 to 2038. The contract will guarantee Milan a total of 500 million euros, equal to 50 million per season.
This is a clear improvement compared to the previous agreement with Puma. The initial contract, signed ten years ago, provided for compensation of 14 million euros per season, which later rose to 30 million annually starting from 2022.
As La Gazzetta points out, the deal with Adidas will become the most lucrative technical sponsorship in Serie A.
Last year Juventus signed a ten-year agreement with Adidas worth 408 million euros, while the contract between Inter and Nike, signed in 2023, is worth 30 million euros per season for eight years.
The return of Adidas on Milan jerseys
The collaboration between Adidas and Milan will resume in less than two years. The German brand has already dressed the rossoneri in the past, first in the early 1990s and later during the Carlo Ancelotti era, in the early 2000s.
The new agreement will therefore mark the return of a historic technical partner, with a contract set to become the most important in the Serie A landscape.
