WASHINGTON, DC – Little by little, it’s becoming the United States of Inter. New York, New Jersey, Boston, Miami, Los Angeles… and now Washington, DC too. A sixth official Nerazzurri supporters’ club has been formed in the USA – in time for Inter’s arrival in the capital. And so Mazzarri’s men received a very pleasant surprise: the newly formed Inter Club Washington Erick Thohir was there to meet them.
Officially founded today, this group of around 50 Inter fans stood waiting for Mazzarri’s men, defying the heat and humidity. An all-American welcome for the Nerazzurri, complete with smiles, hugs and autographs.
On the pitch at the Catholic University, Mazzarri put his players through a light session after their long translatlantic flight. There was a warm-up followed by technical work with the ball and some stretching exercises.
