APPIANO GENTILE – Preparations were stepped up in the Inter camp ahead of Empoli with a double session at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti today. In the morning, the Nerazzurri got their first taste of the complex’s new gym, which borders the training pitches. Set over two floors, the state-of-the-art facility takes up a total of 1000m2.

This afternoon, Roberto Mancini’s men concentrated on a series of technical and tactical exercises, with a particular focus on pressing and on attacking movement. To round the day off, the squad was divided into four six-a-side teams for a friendly tournament on reduced-size pitches.
