Ranocchia: “The derby can turn our season around”

COVERCIANO Andrea Ranocchia is in Antonio Conte’s Italy squad for the Azzurri’s matches against Croatia and Albania and he spoke to the media earlier about his country’s upcoming Euro 2016 qualifiers: “We’ll take the game to Croatia. The crowd’s support will be important, I hope the San Siro is full.” He then discussed booing: “When things don’t go well people boo, and they have a right to do so. It’s not nice, some people respond well to it, others less so and for some players it can create a crisis. We’d all like to be applauded and I hope the same goes for the national team”. On Inter’s target of third spot: “We hope to turn things around with a result in the derby. The coach picks the team based on form and whoever goes out there needs to give 100%. Winning is what matters.” Finally a word on Mateo Kovacic: “He’s a rare talent. I hope he never plays against me, even in training.”
