PINZOLO – After the first training session in Pinzolo, Jonathan was interviewed by Sky Sport Italia and the enthusiasm of the Brazilian full-back was clear:

“We’re all feeling great about the start of this season. We’re charged up and very confident. We want to train hard every day. The fans can believe in Inter. We’re back in the Europa League and Inter are signing important players. More will come, too. We’ll work hard in Pinzolo to come back stronger than before.

“Our objectives? We can compete in the league and Coppa Italia. Inter are a great club. Thohir came to help this great side become even stronger. But you have to do these things calmly. Vidic is experienced and he and other players just add to the squad. Many things have changed and we’re working hard now. The goal is to qualify for the Champions League and compete for trophies.

“Dodo? He’s happy to have arrived. I haven’t spoken with him much. Yesterday and today he’s mainly done tests. Juan Jesus and I will give him plenty of support to help him adjust the best he can.”
