XI’AN – Inter Forever‘s tour to China has begun. On Saturday Toldo and Zanetti travelled to Xi’an, where they were joined yesterday by Dabo, Kallon, Choutos and Galante. The Nerazzurri legends side make their bow in the Far East tomorrow as part of their #ChinaTour2014. A few hours ago the players spoke about the upcoming game in a press conference. They were joined by Wang Baoshaw and Wang Feng, coach and centre forward respectively of Inter Forever’s opponents, Wang Baushan.
“We’d like to thank everyone for inviting us and organising this tour,” began Javier Zanetti and Francesco Toldo, who also thanked all the former Nerazzurri players taking part in the tour. Also at the press conference was Mohamed Kallon, who played in Xi’an for a year: “I’m very happy to be here with Inter Forever and to be back in this city where I played for a season”. Dabo also gave his thoughts: “I’m excited to be a part of this project that Francesco Toldo and Javier Zanetti are promoting and I hope we have a good game tomorrow.”
The Inter vice president meanwhile explained how even in his new role at the club he will take part in Inter Forever projects: “Inter wants to get closer to the club’s fans all over the world and Inter Forever is a great way of doing that.”
