CHARLOTTE – The Milan players continued with their pre-season preparations in the United States yesterday. Out on the pitches of the Davidson College, on a particularly warm day, the rossoneri started training at around 11.30 local time (17.30 CET).
The first phase of the training session saw the players warm-up which consisted of a jog and a passing drill in groups of three. Following that, the session and hard work truly got underway.
Initially, coach Inzaghi’s players worked on technical aspects with a series of passing exercises with the use of the templates followed by a 4 v 4 drill with 2 floating players.
This paved the way for the tactical phase of the training session. The group worked in 10 v 9 over half a pitch and with one goalkeeper, attack versus defence.
The session came to a close with everyone heading back inside to train in the gym.
Individuals: both Menez and Zapata took part in the entire training session with the rest of their team-mates.
