MILAN – FC Internazionale is pleased to announce that Fredy Guarin has renewed his contract with Inter, extending the current deal until 30 June 2017.

Born in Puerto Boyacà on 30 June 1986, the Colombia midfielder joined Inter in January 2012 from Porto, where he won the Primeira Liga and Europa League in 2010/11. In his first two years at Inter he has made 82 appearances, scoring 14 goals.

He now has a bright future to look forward to in black and blue with his favourite shirt number ("I’ve always chosen 13 whenever possible, ever since my time with Colombia U17s"), and a World Cup on the horizon. On behalf of everyone at the club, we wish Fredy all the best!
