APPIANO GENTILE – Despite having become a father just a few hours previously, Mauro Icardi was desperate to take part in training today at the Centro Sportivo Angelo Moratti and arrived just a few minutes after the session had gotten underway. Icardi had a quick individual warm-up before joining the rest of his team-mates, who showered him with congratulations and hearty thumps on the back.

Normal service soon resumed with drills designed to improve possession and work on high-intensity passing exchanges. The session was rounded off with a fitness section overseen by Dr. Carminati.
