CINISELLO BALSAMO – Coach Stefano Bellinzaghi was clearly a happy man after today’s victory over Juventus. His lads won 3-1 in a thrilling comeback, showing great character and just how at ease the Nerazzurri are in the Scirea Memorial trophy after their second win in two years.
“We played a great first half,” he began. “And I was very pleased to see how well the boys played in such a difficult and demanding tournament. All 18 players on the squad got at least one start, and they handled it well.”
The coach then discussed the Nerazzuri’s youth academy. “I really have to underline the work that Roberto Samaden and the youth academy have carried out,” he concluded.
