🇮🇹 The Italian Referee Association (AIA) has appointed match officials for the Serie A Week 1 clash between Udinese and Como, scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine, Italy, starting at 18:30.
Referee Alberto Ruben Arena from the Torre del Greco section will oversee the match. Assisting him will be Paolo Laudato from Taranto and Luca Mondin from Treviso. The Fourth Official is Daniele Chiffi from Padova, while the VAR is Giacomo Camplone from Lanciano, and the AVAR is Daniele Rutella from Enna.
Now, let’s take a look at Arena’s past performances. He officiated the previous encounter in Como last season, which ended with a 1-0 victory for the home team. Additionally, he was the referee for the Udinese vs. Cagliari match that ended in a 1-1 draw in October 2025.
