The third edition of the Match for Peace (Partita del Cuore), was presented on Thursday 29 September 2022 at the Vatican. The event was blessed by Pope Francis. The Match for Peace will be held on Monday 14 November, at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, and will be organized as a beneficial inter-religious event by the Pontifical Movement for Education Scholas Occurrentes. Players from all over the world and football legends of different religions and beliefs will attend. The Match for peace will have as its slogan “We Play For Peace”

The event had the participation of former footballer Ciro Ferrara, Diego Armando Maradona’s teammate in Napoli; SS Lazio, with its President Claudio Lotito and captain Ciro Immobile and AS Roma with the football player Marash Kumbulla and the manager Francesco Pastorella, representing the teams of the city, the World Director of Scholas, José María del Corral and the organizer of the event, Roberto Sarti.
