It’s so great to see Lazio forward Miroslav Klose accomplishing an important record with Germany National Football team. Klose has scored his 15th goal in a World Cup during the game against Ghana on Saturday 21 June 2014 reaching the record of Brazilian forward Ronaldo Luiz Nazario. Klose scored the equalizer goal in the 71st minute. Klose came off the bench in the 69th minute replacing forward Mario Götze. Two minutes after, there you see Klose scoring the equalizer goal to put Germany 2 – 2 Ghana. Klose scoring with a right footed shot defeating Ghana goalkeeper Fatawu Dauda from close range in the bottom right corner. The assist came by Benedikt Höwedes following a corner.
- Klose has scored a total of 70 goals with Germany National Football team which 15 are in his last 4 consecutive World Cups. Klose has now passed the record of his compatriot Gerd Muller’s 14 World Cup goals.
Imagine, Klose needed only 1 minute and 52 seconds after coming from the bench to score a goal. Previous fastest record hold by Marcos Ureña scoring 1 minute and 40 seconds after coming as a subs too.
