Atalanta B.C. making the official aanoucement of new coach Gian Piero Gasperini on Tuesday 14 June 2016. Gasperini is replacing coach Edouardo (Edy) Reja.
Gasperini is considered a master of football. Gasperini was born on January 26, 1958 (age 58) in Grugliasco, Italy.
- Gasperini started from the youth sector of Juventus. As manager in the Juventus youth launched many guys closing his experience at youth level in 2003 winning the Viareggio tournament.
- As manager of First Team debuted in Crotone: in his first year he was promoted and led the Calabrian in Serie B. Three years and then a new challenge, bring the Genoa in Serie A after 12 seasons.
- And after eight leagues in Genoa (with brackets to guide Inter and Palermo) making 274 league appearances (including 232 in Serie A), 111 wins, 401 points and two in the Europa League qualifiers.
