DUBAI - The press conference to present the Dubai Football Challenge has been held in the headquarters of the Emirates in Dubai. Filippo Inzaghi and Riccardo Montolivo were present.The coach said: "We are very happy to be here, we know that there have been almost 100,000 requests for tickets, the stadium has been sold out for a long time, there is a desire to see these two teams, so we hope to play a good game. Milan-Real Madrid is not a game like any other, is a special game, the two teams that have won more Champions League trophies than any other teams. It will be good to play and hopefully we can put in a good performance.We have to think about doing well and keeping on this path as the last 2 matches before the break against Napoli and Roma went really well. We have a very important match on the 6th of January against Sassuolo and so this match will give us the chance to get back on track to try and do well once again."Inzaghi continued: "I am very proud and happy to coach Milan, because it is the club of my life, that gave me so much and so my dream is to stay here for a long time. As with regards to the season, we have a very ambitious President, the most successful in the history of football, and therefore he along with myself and the club want to get back to the highest levels. I think that with a bit of patience, Milan can return to the top. Carlo Ancelotti for me was a great example of managing a group and very good at making himself liked by all of the players, something which is not easy. He’s a role model for all the coaches in Europe and the world."Riccardo Montolivo had this to say during the press conference which was held in the headquarters of the Emirates in Dubai: "This game can give the team a big lift. I think it's a great "training" match if I may say so because when you face teams like Milan and Real Madrid there are no friendly matches. A game like this helps us to immediately hit the ground running when we return to league action. It will also be a good test to see where we are when we come back from the winter break."The skipper finished by saying the following: "The hardest thing after an injury is building your confidence up again out on the pitch. As with regards to the team, we’ve been lacking a bit of consistency but it’s normal for a team that is rebuilding. I believe that we’ve seen steps forward recently in terms of solidity, the group and the match with Real Madrid is an excellent chance to test ourselves once again."
