MILAN – The Milan Glorie will soon be playing their part once again for the Milan Foundation and for the first time ever will be appearing in China.On the 11th of October the Milan Glorie will be taking on Old Boy FC, a selection with a lot of former players from Beijing Guoan FC and a team that Milan faced in a friendly match in Beijing in 1994.The venue for the match is the Wutaishan Stadium in Nanjing and kick-off time is scheduled for 19.30 (local time).The match, which was strongly wanted by the supportive Chinese public, has been organised by the Hupu agency and it will be the first time that the Milan Glorie make an appearance in the Far East. To mark the occasion, the Milan Glorie will be sending out a star-studded squad with some new additions. During the stay in China, the bond between the Milan brand and China will be strengthened by further commercial activities. It all means that Chinese fans only have to wait little over a month before they will have the chance to see the likes of Baresi, Maldini, Shevchenko and co. all in action!
