ADRIANO GALLIANI LOOKS AHEAD TO PARMA CLASH

< ![CDATA[MILAN – CEO Adriano Galliani spoke to the Milan Channel whilst at the Milan Foundation Charity Golf Challenge event on Monday evening. This is what he had to say ahead of the rossoneri’s next match versus Parma: "Let’s not put pressure on Inzaghi, versus Parma we have to take to the pitch in 11. Coach Inzaghi will choose the best formation. 8 are away with their national teams and they will be back by Thursday, the last one will be Honda. Their fitness will be checked and Inzaghi will decide what is for the best. I haven’t seen Donadoni and Bucci. Roberto had already left when I arrived. We didn’t think about Donadoni before Inzaghi, Donadoni was an extraordinary player, a great coach, he did really well with the Italian national team, he’s done well at club level but after a certain point we went straight for Pippo Inzaghi. It’s true that Inzaghi spoke very well to me after Saturday’s practice match about Bonaventura. He also has a lot of qualities but let’s not put too much pressure on him either. Every match is very important, however it’s clear that it would serve us well should we beat Parma and then face Juventus as league leaders. It would give continuity to the first victory. I like Antonio Conte’s Italy, I watched them the other night and I will watch them again tomorrow evening. Conte is an excellent coach who knows how to motivate his players. He’ll be able to obtain brilliant results even with the national team. Inzaghi is playing with a 4-3-3 formation but it isn’t a dogma because in the final part of the match with Lazio he changed formation. Formations can be changed from one match to the next or during a match. Inzaghi was a great player, he knows football well, he knows his players and he’ll assess what to do. President Berlusconi has promised, other engagements permitting, that he’ll come to Milanello every Friday. All the big Italian clubs have had a season without Europe. We’ve competed in Europe the most in these past 15 years, 13 times in the Champions League and twice in the Europa League. It’s the first time this century that we’re out of it, let’s hope it never happens again."]]>
