MILAN – The Rossoneri followed up their derby-day victory by collecting another three points on Wednesday night winning 2-0 away at Palermo.

Bacca broke the deadlock on 19 minutes when he connected with an Abate assist to fire past Sorrentino from close range. Niang added the team’s second from the penalty spot shortly after the half-hour mark.

In the second half Milan protected their lead and controlled proceedings although Balotelli came desperately close to adding a third with a fierce long range effort.

3 – wins in a row away at Palermo when the match has been played in the second part of the season. The previous two came in round 29 last season (Cerci and Menez for a 2-1 victory) and round 26 in 2011/12 (hat-trick from Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva for a 4-0 win).
