MILAN – This is what was said after the Rossoneri ran out 2-0 winners on Wednesday night in round 23 of Serie A at Palermo:

SINISA MIHAJLOVIC (press conference)
“The win in the derby is a confidence boost for the team and our aim tonight was to build on that performance. I believe this is a deserved victory. We have had a few players out injured, but when we have everyone back fully fit we can start to think about changing a few things. We have been consistent with this current formation however and we aim to keep this going. Vazquez has the abilities to play in a top club. He has different characteristics to Dybala.”

M’BAYE NIANG
“After winning the derby, we were determined to collect another 3 points tonight. We haven’t been able to register many back to back wins this season. My first aim is to help the team and then the goals come afterwards. Bacca let me take the penalty and I thank him for this. I hope I can score as many goals as possible. Us forwards have to try and be clinical and score. Whether it is me or Bacca on the score-sheet, it doesn’t matter, the main thing is to find the back of the net. You are always more confident after winning and we have to try and keep on working hard, without getting distracted and show what we’re made of. We wanted to make a strong start tonight and we did exactly that before going on to control the match. We need to take things one game at a time. Up next is a home tie with Udinese and we also need to start picking up a string of positive results at the San Siro. Afterwards we will think about the games with Genoa and Napoli.”
