TRAINING AT 14.30

(IN THE PHOTO: Kakà on the ball in training yesterday)MILANELLO – Preparations continued yesterday ahead of Milan-Atalanta on the 6th of January at the San Siro.
Coach Allegri’s side began training at 11.30 on the outer synthetic pitch with a warm-up which included a jog, sprints and stretching.
At this point, the ball was introduced into the training session, and the players worked heavily with the ball throughout.
The squad took part in a series of conditioned practice matches 11 v 11 on half a pitch with goalkeepers.
The session then finished with a regular 11 v 11 practice match with unlimited touches of the ball on a reduced size pitch.
Individuals: Mario Balotelli and Urby Emanuelson took part in the warm-up with the rest of the team but then worked individually on running and sprinting drills uphill.
Ignazio Abate, Valter Birsa and Sulley Muntari trained in the gym.
Matias Silvestre took part in the entire session with his team-mates.
An afternoon training session is scheduled for today at 14.30.
