(IN THE PHOTO: Mexes and Niang during a training session)MILAN – The squad’s first training session scheduled for today began at 09.30 this morning.It started with a warm-up on the synthetic pitch aided by the use of obstacles and cones. The players then moved to the raised pitch and did some running, sprints and some stretching in between.At this point of the session, the squad was divided into two groups. One group under the supervision of assistant coach Tassotti worked on defensive drills as well as doing a more light hearted drill of football-tennis.Coach Inzaghi meanwhile oversaw the other group of players who worked on passing and shooting. The session came to a close by practicing set pieces.Individuals: Adil Rami took part in the entire session with the group after signing for the club on a permanent basis on Saturday.The players will be back out on the pitches of Milanello at 18.00 today for a practice match between themselves.
