MILAN - Today the 2nd August at 6.30pm local time (00.30 CET) Milan and Liverpool will face each other in the Guinness International Champions Cup.In recent years the two teams have only played each other twice in friendlies. On January 27th 1997 in the Eurosix tournament, a six-a-side tournament held in Marseille and then on August 4th 2002 in the third-fourth place playoff in the Santiago Bernabeu Trophy. That game finished 2-1 in favour of the reds.However, Liverpool and Milan is one of five Champions League finals that has happened on two occasions, in 2005 and then in 2007.
