An all Italian Europa League in the Round of 16. Juventus and Fiorentina battling to qualify to the Europa League Quarterfinal. The qualification will be decided in the Second Leg to be played on March 20 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.
Juventus opening the score in the 3rd minute!!! A trio combo goal originated with midfielder Claudio Marchisio making a right footed assist falling in the way of forward Sebastian Giovinco for the final pass to midfielder Arturo Vidal who without hesitating smack a shot defeating Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto. Vidal running to celebrate making the heart gesture with his hands while coach Antonio Conte jumping out of joy with open arms.
Fiorentina equalizing in the 79th minute with forward Mario Gomez getting the left footed assist by midfieler Josip Ilicic. Gomez defeats Juventus goalkeeper Gigi Buffon with a right footed shot. A reward for Coach Vincenzo Montella seeing his option right when substitution forward Alessandro Matri in the 57th minute with Gomez.

Napoli losing against FC Porto in the First Leg of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 at the Estadio do Dragao. Napoli still have chances to qualify to the Quartefinal if winning with more than one goal without conceding in the Second Leg on March 20 at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples, Italy.
The only goal of the match is in the 57th minute with FC Porto forward Jackson Martinez defeating Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina with a left footed shot in the lower right corner.
