Italy Head Coach Antonio Conte has called up 26  players for the Italian National team  EURO 2016 Qualification games   Italy vs Azerbaijan on Friday 10 October and  Malta vs Italy on Monday 13 October 2014.    Good news for Empoli defender Daniele Rugani and Southampton forward Graziano Pellè called up for the first time with the Italian National team.  Returning to the national team is   Giacomo Bonaventura who had made his debut with Italy on May 31, 2013 in the friendly game against San Marino.

Players will meet on Sunday 5 October afternoon at the Technical Center of Coverciano.  The first training is scheduled on Monday 6 October.   I am including  the Italian National Football team schedule from Sunday 5 to Monday 13 October 2014.

Positive moment for Sassuolo forward Simone Zaza not only scoring against Netherlands, but today scoring against Norway.   Zaza opening the score in the 16th minute with a left footed shot defeating Norway goalkeeper  in the bottom left corner.

Just a spectacular headed goal for Italy!!  Yep, get the picture.   A left footed assist by Pasqual and there it was at the right place Italy defender Leonardo Bonucci with a mini jump for the headed shot despite Norway goalkeeper going to the right direction the ball just says GOOAAAALLLL.   Immediate celebration for the Azzurri!  Mamma mia, what a a great way to say I am here!  Pasqual with this assist just thanking Conte for giving him time to play by providing the assist to the goal, way to go

Italy Head Coach Antonio Conte has called up 27 players for the Italian National team friendly game against Netherlands on September 4 and the EURO 2016 Qualification game against Norway on September 9, 2014.

Players will meet at the Technical Center of Coverciano on Sunday 31 August by midnight.   Goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu and midfielder Verratti will arrive until Monday because they are playing with PSG while Mattia Destro will join the team until Tuesday for personal reasons.
