🏆👉 Napoli crushed Rangers winning the UEFA Champions League Matchday 2 on Wednesday 14 September 2022. Three key points for Napoli, now first alone in the group with 6 points, +3 over Liverpool and Ajax, the Azzurri’s next opponent. Still at 0 points, however, the Rangers, the result of two defeats in as many games with no goals scored and seven conceded. Napoli found victory in the second half.
In the 55th minute, Referee Lahoz whistled a penalty kick for Napoli after a foul on Simeone, di Sands, who was sent off. Piotr Zielinski shows up from the spot and failed to convert as goalkeeper Allan McGregor saved but on the rebound Matteo Politano scored. In the final two more goals came with the substitutes: in the 85th minute Giacomo Raspadori closed a great one-two with Olivera and in the 91st minute Ndombélé sealed the victory on an assist from Anguissa.
Napoli arrived in Scotland thanks to the great 4-1 victory against Liverpool in the first match of the group.
The game, initially scheduled for yesterday at 21.00, was postponed to today due to the limitations imposed on the organization of public order due to the presence in Scotland, until yesterday, of the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II. The match has also been banned for visiting fans and, to ensure fairness, Rangers supporters will not be able to go to Naples for the return match.

🏆👉 Juventus humiliated failed to win the Champions League Group Stage – Group H Matchday 2 game against Benfica at the Allianz Stadium on Wednesday 14 September 2022. Definitely, Juventus are going through a complicated period and are returning from a draw with controversies against Salernitana. Now, another slap. Benfica comeback, Juventus 2-1. 🏆👉 Inter with an important victory winning the UEFA Champions League Group Stage – Group C game against Viktoria Plzen on Tuesday 13 September 2022 at the Stadion města Plzně in Czech Republic. For the first time an Italian team won on the field of Viktoria Plzen. Surely, Inter with a boost to the morale of the team after losing 2-0 to Bayern Munich in their opening match, Inter reached three points, while Plzen remain pointless after their opening two games.
Inter dominated from the beginning. The victory thanks to the goals by Edin Džeko, who also provided an assist for Denzel Dumfries’ goal. A few minutes in the end for Lautaro Martínez, Hakan Çalhanoğlu and debut for Kristjan Asllani who replaced Marcelo Brozović in the 84th minute.
Inzaghi again chose goalkeeper André Onana for the European tournament and not disappointing maintaining a clean sheet. Francesco Acerbi the absolute first as a starter. Lautaro saved for the Serie A Week 7 game against Udinese.
