The first and last place team Salernitana vs AC Milan ended the Serie A Week 26 game with a 2-2 draw at the Arechi Stadium. The difficult moment continues for Empoli, which returns to lose after two consecutive draws and sees the distance from the Sampdoria shortened to five points. The highlight of the match is Fabio Quagliarella becoming the eighth player in the Serie A history scoring in 18 consecutive calendar years.
Roma slowed down their sprint race to gain points and climb to the top 6 positions. Roma barely got a 2-2 draw at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. A brave Hellas Verona almost got the victory. Sour note for Atalanta seeing Coach Gian Piero Gasperini being sent off in the 63rd minute for protesting. Moreover, Atalanta seeing Ruslan Malinovskyi ‘s goal ruled out for offside.
The “salvation dream game.” Venezia and Genoa finished the Serie A Week 26 game with a draw at the Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium. The result makes you smile, only in part sharing 1 point each.
