This match was a thrilling spectacle! In the dying moments, specifically the 92nd minute, Angeliño scored an equalizer for Roma with a brilliant left-footed strike into the bottom right corner. The assist came from Alexis Saelemaekers, who floated a soft ball into the area from the right. Angeliño expertly struck it with the outside of his foot, guiding it past Meret and into the net.

Napoli has managed to remain unbeaten in nine out of their last ten Serie A matches against Roma, securing six wins and three draws. The only victory for the Giallorossi during this stretch was on December 23, 2023, where they triumphed 2-0, thanks to goals from Lorenzo Pellegrini and Romelu Lukaku. After enjoying four straight home wins against Napoli, Roma has only claimed two victories in their last eight home encounters with the Partenopei, and they’ve struggled to find the net in three of their last four matches.

Meanwhile, Napoli is riding high with seven straight wins in Serie A, a feat they’ve only surpassed six times in their history, the last being an eight-game streak from January to February 2023.
Claudio Ranieri, who against Udinese became the 15th coach in Serie A history to reach the milestone of 200 wins (achieved a few hours later by Simone Inzaghi), also became the first coach in the history of the competition to lead a team for at least 10 matches after turning 73 years of age. In fact, none of the players fielded on the final day were born on the day of his first bench in the competition in September 1990.
