Following the outbreak of war in Ukraine, both the league itself and the twenty Serie A clubs within it have acted to help the Ukrainian people. Starting from the Serie A Week 31 of the Serie A 2021/2022, all the captains will be wearing the armband with the words “Peace”. The children are also back on the field, thanks to the new protocols of the FIGC

AC Milan defeated Genoa with a 2-0 at the San Siro Stadium.   The victory is a boost for the morale of the team claiming all 3 points and retaining the 1st position reaching 71 points.  Last week, Milan ended with two consecutive goalless draw against Bologna and Torino. Inter are following closely with 69 points after defeating Spezia.  Inter with a game in hand. Genoa fighting to save themselves winning only one of their 17 away fixtures in Serie A after losing in San Siro.

Inter defeated Spezia at the Alberto Picco Stadium. Inter with a convincing victory. The leading goal is scored by Marcelo Brozović which is his first goal this season.  Inter with a record of seeing 17 different scorers in the league in this season after the goal by Brozović.  Inter doubled in the second half with the substitute Lautaro Martinez.  Spezia thanks to the splendid conclusion of Maggiore reopens the match but sealed the victory in the 93rd minute with Alexis Sánchez

Napoli failed to win the Serie A Week 33 game against AS Roma at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.    Napoli took the lead and in the 90th minute, Roma equalized for the 1-1 sharing 1 point each.  The draw is a step back for Napoli slowing down the race for the Scudetto reaching 67 points being -4 points below AC Milan with 71 points in the 1st position. Napoli took the lead and in the 90th minute, Roma equalized for the 1-1 sharing 1 point each. The draw is a step back for Napoli slowing down the race for the Scudetto reaching 67 points being -4 points below AC Milan with 71 points in the 1st position. We might say this is a fair result, after a hard-fought match, more tense than spectacular. On matchday 34, Napoli will visit Empoli while Roma will visit Inter at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.

Lazio pursuing a spot for the European competition ended with a late draw against Torino  at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Lazio catch the draw in the 92nd minute thanks to Ciro Immobile, after a complicated match that saw Torino take the lead with Pietro Pellegri. Lazio failed to shorten on Juventus, thus taking to 56 points with Fiorentina. Torino, who almost got the victory, returns home with only one point but which allows them to beat Udinese at 40 points.

Juventus barely got a 1-1 draw against Bologna at the Allianz Stadium. Juventus dropped 2 points and rescued one in extremis reaching 63 points. Juventus are currently -8 points away from AC Milan with 71 points in the 1st position. A brave Bologna ended the game with 9 players. In the second half, Bologna took the lead thanks to Marko Arnautović’s goal in the 52nd minute. The chaos just arrived closer to the end, in the 84th minute, Referee Juan Lucca Sacchi gave 2 red cards to Bologna players: Gary Medel and Adama Soumaoro after a foul on Morata. At the end, 94th minute, Bam! Dušan Vlahović scored the equalizer goal.

Atalanta failed big time losing against Hellas Verona at the Gewiss Stadium.  The negative and confusing moment continues for the Goddess. . Atalanta further slows down their race towards the Europe League next season and for the first time since Gian Piero Gasperini has been seated on the bench they have lost three games in a row in the league, incredible! Hellas Verona, getting this important away victory after losing against Inter, immediately climbs up the slope showing off an excellent performance. In the next round, Hellas Verona will play at home against Sampdoria while Atalanta will play away against Venezia.

Cagliari keeping the dream for salvation after defeating Sassuolo at the Unipol Domus. Cagliari reached 28 points and are +6 points above Genoa 22 points. A valuable home victory claiming all 3 points after 5 consecutive defeats. Cagliari did not win since the 1-2 at Turin on February 27th. The victory against Sassuolo was missing from the rossoblu from 24 January 2015.  In the next round, Cagliari is expected by the very important direct clash against Genoa at the Marassi Stadium, which knows so much about a play-off so as not to relegate. Sassuolo, on the other hand, will host Juventus on their field.

Udinese crushed Empoli at the Dacia Arena.   Udinese reached 39 points with a poker which saw Deulofeu, Pussetto and Samardzic as protagonists, the first goal an own goal by Ismajli. For Empoli, the penalty of Andrea Pinamonti was first wrong, then repeated and converted. Udinese who brings home three key points for salvation, a clear success against an Empoli who struggled to react.

Salernitana with a ray of hope after defeating Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. Salernitana with their first win since January 9 (2-1 against Hellas Verona) and rises to -9 from the safety zone.  Sampdoria, on the other hand, loses for the 11th time in the last 14 days (negative record among the top 5 European championships) and remains sixteenth at 29.  The advantage over the red zone is only 7 points.  In the next round of the championship, the Salernitana will fly to Udine for the recovery of the Nineteenth Round. Sampdoria, on the other hand, will play away against Hellas Verona.
