Napoli is urged to climb back to the 2nd position to keep up the race for the Scudetto.  The Serie A Week 12 game on Saturday 12 November 2018 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genova is also a pressure for Genoa to climb towards the top 10 positions.  Bad news is that Genoa lost this game giving the victory to Napoli after an own goal.

A blow for Genoa! Napoli taking the lead and grabbing this needed victory with an unexpected help. In the 87th minute, there it is an own goal by Davide Biraschi. A cold shower for Genoa.

The duel for the Serie A Week 12 game on Friday 9 November 2018 at the Matusa Stadium  between Frosinone and Fiorentina ended with a 1-1 draw.   The wake up call is for Frosinone finding themselves down in the relegation zone. Hello my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 11 RESULTS / Eleventh Round on Friday 2, Saturday 3, and Sunday 4 November 2018.

Juventus remaining the sole leader of the Serie A with 31 points and a positive goal difference of +16.  Juventus defeated Cagliari  with a 3-1 at the Allianz Stadium.   Juventus having a +6 points lead over Inter holding the second position with 25 points and a positive goal difference of +15.   Yet, the second position is still a duel between Inter and Napoli because they both have 25 points and it might change next week.

The good news is for AC Milan jumping to the 4th position after defeating Udinese at the Friuli Stadium with a 0-1.   AC Milan climbed from the  5th position to the 4th position.  Problem is for Lazio going down from the 4th to the 5th  position despite defeating Spal with a 4-1 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.

Fiorentina lost the 6th position after the 1-1 draw with AS Roma.  Sassuolo jumped to the 6th position after defeating Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium with a 0-2.

Inter won the Milan Derby – famous Derby della Madonnina claiming the bragging rights to rule the City of Milan.  The Argentinean duel between forwards Mauro Icardi and Gonzalo Higuain was won by Icardi.  Yep.  Mauro Icardi becoming he hero of the Derby and sending a clear  message to the Argentina National team that he is ready!

Imagine the situation, just when  everybody thought the match was going to end  with a 0-0 draw., kaboom!   The whole  situation changed.   In the 92nd minute, Inter forward Mauro Icardi defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a headed shot in the center.  The assist is by Matias Vecino.
