What a relief for AC Milan Coach Marco Giampaolo surviving the pressure winning the Serie A Week 7 away game defeating Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. AC Milan winning 3 games and losing 4 games. OUCH! These stats are not acceptable for AC Milan’s objective which is to return to the UEFA Champions League.  The big problem is for Genoa wining only 1 game, 2 draws, and losing 3 having only 5 points.

It is Genoa to open the score in the 41st minute. Lasse Schöne defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Pepe Reina with a right footed free kick shot in the center. Coach Andreazzoli celebrating this goal.

AC Milan reverting the result! In the 57th minute, Franck Kessié defeats goalkeeper Radu by converting the penalty with a right footed shot in the center. The penalty is conced by Davide Biraschi following a handball inside the penalty area.

Pepe Reina redeeming himself after conceding the penalty by saving Lasse Schöne’s right footed penalty shot in the bottom left corner and avoiding the draw! Reina securing the victory with this important save. You bet, players celebrating and congratulating Pepe!

Italian Soccer Serie A

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2019-2020 Serie A Week 6 RESULTS / Sixth Round on Saturday 28, Sunday 29, and Monday 30 September 2019.

The status in the leadership remains the same.  Inter winning all  games this season.  Inter defeated Sampdoria at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium with a 1-3.  Inter have the perfect score of 18 points with a positive goal difference of +11. Juventus with 16 points and a positive goal difference of +6.

➡️ Up to Serie A Week 6: There is a two-way race between Inter (18) and Juventus (16)

Serie A tickets

Juventus keeping up the race for the Scudetto.  Juventus defeated SPAL at the Allianz Stadium with 2-0.    A great match to celebrate a legendary career.  Goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon made his 903rd appearance with Juventus in all competitions breaking the previous record hold by the ex AC Milan player Paolo Maldini with 902 appearances.  Juventus now preparing for the Champions League Group Stage Matchday 2 against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday 1 October.

Sassuolo humiliated by Atalanta at the Mapei Stadium.  Atalanta with a superb victory crushing Sassuolo with a 1-4.    Atalanta remaining in the 3rd position with 13 points and a positive goal difference of +6.  Surely, this victory is a boost for Atalanta ahead of their Champions League  Group Stage Matchday 2 against Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday 1 October.

Lazio crushed Genoa with a poker 4-0!!!  The victory helped Lazio to climb the Serie A Standing from the 9th to the 6th points reaching 10 points and a positive goal difference of +7.    Genoa went down from the 17th to the 18th position falling in the relegation zone.  Wake up call for Genoa is ringing loud because they have won only 1 game this season!!!!

AS Roma gaining momentum defeating Lecce with a 1- 0.  The victory helped Roma climb the Serie A Standing from the 7th to the 5th position with 11 points.

Cagliari and Hellas Verona ended with a 1-1 draw sharing 1 point each.  Not the ideal result, but better than losing all 3 points.

AC Milan falling at the San Siro Stadium.  It’s a tough defeat for the Rossoneri on their quest to be in the European zone.  Milan finished the match with 10 players since the 55th minute.  AC Milan living a nightmare winning only 2 games and losing 4 games this season.  Milan going down from the 13th to the 16th position.  On the contrary, Fiorentina experiencing the renaissance winning 2 games reaching 8 points.  Question mark is whether AC Milan should change coach?

Parma with a very important home victory gaining 3 points to get away from the relegation zone climbing from the 15th to the 9th position.   Parma defeated Torino 3-2.  It’s a super victory for Parma celebrating their 900th game in Serie A.  Parma winning their 3rd game this season.  Torino remain in the 8th position with 9 points.
