Italian Soccer Serie A

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2019-2020 Serie A Week 35 RESULTS / Thirty-fifth Round on Tuesday 21, Wednesday 22, and Thursday 23 July 2020.

👉 Up to Serie A Week 35: There is a three-way race between Juventus (80), Atalanta (74), and  Inter (73)

⚽️ Serie A Top Scorer up to Week 35:
Lazio forward Ciro Immobile with 30 goals

Serie A tickets

Juventus failing the chance to claim their 9th consecutive Scudetto in this round. Juventus could claim it if they had defeated Udinese.  However, the Scudetto will have to wait for another round because Udinese defeated Juventus at the Dacia Arena.  It is an important victory for Udinese reaching 39 points and the dream for salvation to remain in the Serie A in the next 2020-2021 Season is gaining momentum.

Lazio returning to smaile after defeating Cagliari at the Olimpico.  Lazio were losing the game and then overturned the result to claim the victory.  The hero is forward Ciro Immobile scoring the winner goal in the 60th minute for the 2-1.  Immobile scoring now 31 goals returning to be the sole top scorer of the Serie A.

Teams already sentenced to be relegated to the Serie B for the 2020-2021 Season are SPAL and Brescia.  SPAL was, mathematically speaking, relegated last week after losing Brescia 2-1 SPAL.    This week, it is Brescia to be relegated after losing Lecce 3 – 1 Brescia.  Genoa and Lecce still dreaming with salvation after winning their respective games.

A flop in this round is for Inter.  Last week, Inter got a 2-2 draw against AS Roma.  In this round, hello, there is another draw but this time is at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium with Inter 0- 0 Fiorentina.  It is a big step back despite claiming one point because Inter had the chance to climb bac to the 2nd position and instead remain in the 3rd position with 73 points while Atalanta keep the 2nd position with 74 points after defeating Bologna with a 1-0.

Another flop is for Napoli.  Yep.  Parma defeated Napoli with a 2-1 at the Ennio Tardini Stadium.  The defeat for Napoli with 56 points means that they lost the 6th position and went down to the 7th position while AC Milan climbed from the 7th to the 6th position with 59 points.  Napoli must react and find their way back to convincing performance ahead of their Champions League game against Barcelona.  AC Milan defeated Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium with a 1-2.

AS Roma shining big time crushing SPAL at the Paolo Mazza Stadium with a mega goleada!  SPAL 1 – 6 AS Roma.  The Roman gladiators reaching 61 points while SPAL remain in the last position with only 19 points.

The Derby della Lanterna is won by Genoa!    Sampdoria falling at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium with a 1-2.  The winner goal is scored by Lukas Lerager giving the victory to Genoa to claim the full bragging rights to rule in Genova.  Genoa with a boost to their morale because they are still fighting for salvation.

Torino also failing to win the home game at the Olimpico in Turin.  The game ended with a draw Torino 1 -1 Hellas Verona.
