Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Parma, 14th position with 32 point2 and a negative goal difference of -13
Como, 11th position with 42 points and a negative goal difference of -4

A big disappointment for Parma losing the Serie A Week 35 on Saturday 3 May 2025 at the Ennio Tardini Stadium in Parma, Italy.  Como continues to impress, achieving its fifth straight Serie A win for the first time ever. Fabregas’ squad also secures its fourth consecutive clean sheet and rises to tenth place with 45 points, surpassing Torino. Parma faced a tough loss despite a solid performance from the team, who had been on a winning streak since March 1st. Chivu’s squad still holds a six-point lead over the team in third-to-last place.

The second half of the game matches the intensity of the first, as Parma comes back onto the pitch with renewed confidence, creating several threats in Como’s territory but missing many opportunities.

In the 79th minute, the decisive goal was scored by Gabriel Strefezza, who had just come onto the field. He took the lead for Como with a left-footed shot from the center of the box into the bottom right corner, thanks to an assist from Tasos Douvikas. Douvikas received a through ball, controlled it, and then Strefezza swooped in to outsmart goalkeeper Zion Suzuki with his left foot!

In the closing moments, Parma makes every effort to equalize, but in injury time, Man shoots over the bar from close range.

In the next round, Parma will be playing in Empoli while Como will host Cagliari.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Udinese, 12thposition with 41 points and a negative goal difference of -12
Cagliari, 15th position with 32 points and a negative goal difference of -14

Cagliari and Udinese will face off in Serie A on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Unipol Domus in Cagliari, Italy.

Stats before the game

Since April 14, 2018, Cagliari has not managed to score more than one goal against Udinese in Serie A, with the only goals coming from Pavoletti and Ceppitelli. Over the next 11 matches, the Sardinians found the net just six times, failing to score in five of those games. Udinese has remained unbeaten in their last five away matches against Cagliari in Serie A, achieving three victories and two draws, and they have never experienced six consecutive away games without a loss against the Sardinians in this league, matching a similar record from 1981 to 1993 (1 win, 4 draws).

Cagliari won their last league match (2-0 against Hellas Verona) and have not won two consecutive games in Serie A since March 2024, with Claudio Ranieri on the bench; furthermore, the Sardinians have kept three clean sheets in their last five games, as many times as in the previous 30.

\Cagliari have lost eight of their 17 home games played so far in Serie A, less than only Hellas Verona (10) and Monza (11); there are four seasons in which the Sardinians have suffered more home defeats, all in the last 10 years: 11 in 2014/15 and 10 in 2017/18, 2020/21 and 2021/22.

Udinese have scored just one goal in their last six Serie A games and none in their last four; the last team to go five games in a row without scoring in a single Serie A season was Empoli, between August and September 2023 (five).

Udinese have lost their last three away games in Serie A and have already suffered four consecutive away defeats in this season, between September and November; this could become the fourth season in which the Bianconeri have had two such long separate negative streaks away from home, after 1958/59, 1961/62 and 2017/18.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Torino, 10th position with 43 points and a negative goal difference of -1
Venezia, 18th position with 25 points and a negative goal difference of -21

Torino FC and Venezia ended the Serie A Week 35 with a draw on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium in Turin, Italy. Torino and Venezia each earn a point. The Granata keep their unbeaten home streak alive in 2025, reaching 44 points in the league, which is ten points shy of ninth-placed Milan. Venezia also advances in the rankings, surpassing Empoli, and stays in third-last position, now just one point away from Lecce, who are currently out of the relegation zone.

Torino is eager to start earning points again after their recent loss to Napoli. Paolo Vanoli’s squad, currently sitting tenth with 43 points, faces a tough challenge in catching up to Milan in ninth place, as they are 11 points behind. However, they need to protect their position in the top half of the table. To achieve this, the Granata will rely on their home advantage, as they have remained unbeaten at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in 2025.

The action …

Venezia gained the advantage in the 36th minute when Kike Pérez found the net with a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner, assisted by Christian Gytkjær. It was a lovely one-two play by Venezia, with Gytkjær setting up the Spaniard, who maneuvered past a few defenders before striking the ball with his right foot, beating Milinkovic-Savic with a low shot to the near post. A memorable goal Kike Pérez debut goal for Venezia.

Nikola Vlasic brought Torino level in the 77th minute, scoring a penalty with a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner. The penalty was awarded after Jay Idzes committed a handball in the box.

✅  Stats before the game

From 1947 to 1962, Torino celebrated six consecutive Serie A victories, but they’ve only managed to win twice in their last 10 encounters with Venezia, recording 6 draws and 2 losses.

Venezia has triumphed in their last two away matches against Torino in Serie A, achieving victories in 2001 and 2022, following a stretch where they only won once in the previous 10 encounters (with 2 draws and 7 losses).

Torino has suffered defeats in two of their last three league matches, failing to score in each; this matches the number of losses they had in their prior 17 Serie A games (W5 D10) and the number of matches without a goal in their last 16. However, Torino remains unbeaten in their last eight home Serie A games (W4 D4) and has secured four victories in their last six, which is equal to the total wins in their previous 17 home matches in the league (D8 L5).

Venezia’s most recent away victory in Serie A was against Torino on February 12, 2022, with a score of 2-1, thanks to goals from Brekalo, Haps, and Crnigoj. Since that match, the Lagunari have been on a 24-game winless streak away from home, the longest among all teams in the top division.

2024-25 Serie A Week 34 Results and Scores.

Hello, friends!   Check out the Italian Serie A Week 34 Results Live Scores happening on Sunday 27 and Monday 28 April 2025.  There will be no Serie A matches held today, Saturday, April 26, 2025, in honor of Pope Francis’ funeral. The Pope passed away on Monday, April 21, at the age of 88. In response, the Italian Government declared five days of national mourning the next day. Consequently, Lega Serie A has postponed the three matches originally scheduled for today: Como-Genoa, Inter-Roma, and Lazio-Parma. The 34th round of Serie A will commence on Sunday and conclude on Monday, April 28.

The countdown to the conclusion of the season has begun: only 4 games remain in the Serie A 2024-25 season.

✅   What’s happening in Round 34?

Prepare for the exciting finale in the race for the Scudetto!  What a shocker! Inter is struggling and fell to Roma at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. They were under pressure to win to keep pace with Napoli in the Scudetto chase. Roma triumphed at the Meazza with Soulé’s crucial goal. The Giallorossi achieved their 18th consecutive positive result, nearly doubling their lead multiple times while facing minimal risk, securing a vital and slim victory.  Can you believe it? There are just 4 games left in the Season! It seems like Inter is running low on energy right when they need it the most!

What an incredible match! Napoli picked up the pace to secure a win. This isn’t just any win; it signifies their belief in the Scudetto. With this victory, Napoli has reached 74 points, surpassing Inter, who remains at 71 points after their loss to Roma. With four games left, the 2-0 win against Torino gives Napoli a +3 advantage over Inter at the top of the standings. With only 4 games left in the season, every match is critical. It’s time to focus and secure that victory!   The star of the show was undoubtedly Scott McTominay, who made headlines with his two goals, bringing his total to 10—just one shy of the prolific Romelu Lukaku.

HERE IS THE SITUATION:  Lecce and Parma are the next away games, while Genoa and Cagliari will be played at home. These are the final four challenges for Conte’s squad on their journey to the coveted scudetto. Inter, on the other hand, will face Verona and Lazio at home, and travel to Torino and Como, along with two Champions League matches against Barcelona.

The pressure is mounting for survival teams aiming to stay in Serie A next season. Currently, Lecce, Venezia, Empoli, and Monza find themselves in the relegation zone.  Monza, currently at the bottom of the table with just 15 points, continues to fight despite the looming threat of relegation.

Juventus secures 3 points against Monza, the bottom team in the league, climbing back to fourth place with 62 points, ahead of Bologna and Roma. Nico Gonzalez and Kolo Muani lead the charge against Monza. While Juve sits in fourth, Yildiz’s unnecessary red card at the end of the first half was quite foolish. Surely, a precious victory for Juventus.  Not just to keep up with their rivals for 4th place but also to boost the spirits of their fans. Conversely, Monza has been on a losing streak that has put them in a dire situation.  They have a challenging gap to bridge to safety, even though their fate isn’t sealed by mathematics just yet.

Matches scheduled for Monday include Udinese versus Bologna, Lazio against Parma, and Hellas Verona facing Cagliari.

AC Milan defeated Venezia with a 0-2. The Rossoneri reached 54 points, holding onto 9th place. They secured a victory at Penzo with a goal in each half: Pulisic netted in the 5th minute, and Giménez sealed the win late in the second half with a gentle touch that left Radu with no chance.  Milan still has a chance to qualify for the Europa League by winning the Coppa Italia, a tournament where Milan advanced to the final after a decisive 3-0 victory over Inter in the second leg of the semi-finals.

Atalanta 1 – 1 Lecce.  A crucial moment for Lecce in their fight for survival, as they pull away from Venezia and Empoli, who are both just 2 points behind and in the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Atalanta strengthens their hold on third place, closing in on Inter, who are second and have suffered two straight losses, now sitting 6 points ahead while Juventus, Bologna, and Roma trail by 3 and 5 points respectively. Lecce hasn’t tasted victory in the league since January 31, when they lost 1-3 to Parma, and now they are under pressure from Venezia and Empoli, who are just one point behind.

Fiorentina 2 – 1 Empoli. Mission accomplished, although not without suffering. Fiorentina gets three precious points. After the double advantage gained in the first half thanks to Yacine Adli and Rolando Mandragora. Empoli comes back into the game at the beginning of the second half with a goal by Jacopo Fazzini. D’Aversa’s team tries until the last moment but fails to reach the equalizer.

Como 1 -0 Genoa.  Como secures its fourth straight victory, ensuring its place in Serie A next season. A goal from Strefezza, assisted by Cutrone, clinches the win in the second half. Genoa struggles to score, despite a few chances in the first half, including Ahanor hitting the post, and now relies on other results for survival. Como has accumulated 42 points, while Genoa remains at 39. Upcoming matches include Parma vs. Como and Genoa vs. Milan.

Lecce, 17th position with 26 points and a negative goal difference of -32

Atalanta and Lecce ended the Serie A Week 34 game with a draw on Sunday 27 April 2025 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Italy.

In the first half, Hien’s handball led to a penalty for Lecce, which Karlsson successfully converted. Atalanta quickly responded but faced a well-organized defense, bolstered by an impressive performance from goalkeeper Falcone. In the second half, Karlsson fouled in the box, allowing Retegui to score from the penalty spot and equalize the match.

Lecce hasn’t tasted victory in the league since January 31, when they lost 1-3 to Parma, and now they are under pressure from Venezia and Empoli, who are just one point behind.

Bottom line, Lecce is in desperate need of points for survival: the Salento team hasn’t secured a victory in three months (last winning 3-1 against Parma), and since then, they’ve faced only losses and draws, causing Marco Giampaolo’s squad to plummet in the rankings.

Lecce will step onto the pitch wearing plain shirts, devoid of colors, emblems, and logos, to express their protest. In a press release issued shortly before the game, the Salento club voiced their opposition to the Lega Serie A’s decision to reschedule the match against Atalanta just hours after the passing of Graziano Fiorita, the team’s masseur, who died while the team was in training.

Lecce scored first in the 29th minute when Jesper Karlsson netted a penalty with a right-footed shot to the center. The penalty was awarded after Isak Hien committed a handball in the box.

Atalanta brought the score to 1-1 in the 69th minute when Mateo Retegui scored a penalty with a right-footed shot to the center. The penalty was awarded after Jesper Karlsson fouled Juan Cuadrado in the box. Retegui is still the leading scorer with 24 goals.

Stats before the game.

Atalanta has triumphed in their last three league matches against Lecce, keeping a clean sheet each time with a total score of 7-0, following two losses in the 2022/23 season. They have only managed to secure four straight victories against Lecce in Serie A once before, from 2000 to 2002.

Atalanta has the chance to achieve four straight clean sheets against Lecce in Serie A for the first time, having previously managed three between 2000 and 2001. They have also stayed unbeaten in 12 out of their 14 home matches against Lecce in Serie A, with a record of 7 wins and 5 draws; Lecce’s only two victories away came on February 19, 2023 (2-1) and March 13, 1994 (4-3).

Atalanta have kept a clean sheet in 14 of their 33 matches in this championship, in the entire last Serie A season they had recorded 15 clean sheets in 38 matchdays. If they did not concede a goal in this match they would rise again to 15, and only once have they done better in a single season in the top flight (16 clean sheets in 2016/17).
In Atalanta’s last 10 Serie A matches, both teams have never found the back of the net: seven clean sheets for the Goddess but with five games without a goal for the Lombardy team.

Since the beginning of February 2025, only Monza (two) have earned fewer points than Lecce in Serie A (three in 10 matches); the Apulians could in fact record a streak of at least 11 games without a win in the top flight for the first time since the period between October and December 2008 (12 in that case).
