Torino failed to win the home game ending the Serie A Week 30 game against Salernitana with a draw on Sunday 16 April 2023 at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium in Turin, Italy. Torino with their sixth consecutive draw. One goal in each half decreed a draw between Juric’s and Paolo Sousa’s grenade teams. In the ninth minute Salernitana finds the advantage with Vilhena who collects Piatek’s side to the limit and transforms it into the opening goal. In the second half, precisely in the 57th minute, the equalizer arrives: Miranchuk receives on the edge of the area, is not pressed by the Campania defense and slots in for Sanabria who blocks with his left foot and ends with his right foot to cross, beating the innocent Ochoa.

In the next round, Torino will face Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio away, while Salernitana will face Dionisi’s Sassuolo at home.

Salernitana opened the score in the 9th minute. Tonny Vilhena defeated Torino goalkeeper Milinkovic Savic with a left-footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Krzysztof Piatek.

Torino equalized in the 57th minute. Antonio Sanabria defeated Salernitana goalkeeper Guillermo “Memo” Ochoa with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Aleksey Miranchuk.

Sampdoria begging for points for salvation!! Sampdoria ended the Serie A Week 30 game with a draw against Lecce on Sunday 16 April 2023 at the Via Del Mare Stadium in Leccce. Lecce took the lead in the first half, Sampdoria equalized in the second. The goal that brought Salento forward came in the 31st minute, when Ceesay received an assist from Strefezza. In the second half the Salento players create much less and try to manage the advantage. In the 75th minute, however, the newcomer Jesé opened up for Gabbiadini, who returned the ball to him in the box. The Spaniard receives and passes Falcone with a first lob, finding the Sampdoria equalizer.

The match in Via Del Mare ends amid the boos of Lecce fans. The Salento team wasted an opportunity to distance themselves from third from bottom Hellas Verona, now five points away, and remained involved in the fight not to relegate, but ended their streak of six consecutive defeats by returning to score points. Sampdoria also moves slightly in the standings, earning a point after two knockouts in a row, but remains 10 points from the safety zone.

Lecce opened the score in the 31st minute. Assan Ceesay defeated Sampdoria goalkeeper Nicola Ravaglia with a left-footed shot to the center. The assist is by Gabriel Strefezza.

Sampdoria equalized in the 75th minute. Jesé Rodríguez defeated Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with a right-footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Manolo Gabbiadini.

Stats before the game: Lecce to move away from Verona third last, Sampdoria to continue to cultivate the residual hopes of salvation. These are the goals of the two teams today on the pitch at Via del Mare. The Salentini are returning from six consecutive defeats, which made them lose all the advantage accumulated in the first part of the championship over the relegation zone, now only 4 points away. Furthermore, Marco Baroni’s team has not won at home since the first match of 2023, on January 4 against Lazio.

Inter with a sprint race to remain within the European zone.  Inter suffered a big flop losing the Serie A Week 30 game against Monza on Saturday 15 April 2023 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy. Inter have lost their last two home league games. Monza moves to San Siro, third consecutive home defeat for Inter. The decisive goal by Luca Caldirola in the 77th minute, the defender scoring with a header from a Ciurria corner. Inter battled and it was dangerous with Correa but Di Gregorio makes a great save.  Romero Lukaku and Lautaro tried but nothing happened. Accidents for Sensi and De Vrij.

The happiest was Adriano Galliani winning his personal derby against Inter.

Inter remain on 51 points and are now looking to Wednesday’s match against Benfica. In the next round of the championship, Inter will play the away game against Empoli and Monza will host Fiorentina.

Monza opened the score in the 77th minute. Luca Caldirola defeated Inter goalkeeper Onana with a headed shot to the top left corner. The assist is by Patrick Ciurria following a corner conceded by Francesco Acerbi.

There’s hope.  Cremonese battling for salvation win the Serie A Week 30 game against Empoli on Friday 14 April 2023 at the Giovanni Zini Stadium in Cremona, Italy. This is the second consecutive success for Cremonese, who rises to 19 points in the standings. Zini’s match ends with a close success from Cremonese. The hosts took the lead in the first minutes with Cyriel Dessers and legitimized the advantage in the rest of the match. The Tuscans came out in the second half, holding the ball in hand, but without creating real chances. After 4 points in the previous two games, Empoli stopped and remain in 14th place.
