The bad news is for Napoli struggling to defend their title. Napoli, despite their victory against Salernitana, stepped down to the 7th position with 31 points. Bologna lost the game against Cagliari, though, are in the 6th position with 32 points. Cagliari gained momentum because the victory helped them to abandon the relegation zone.
The relegation zone is hot and the situation can change next week. Frosinone and Sassuolo have 19 points each. Udinese and Cagliari have 18 points each. Hellas Verona are in the 18th position with 17 points.
Atalanta with a brilliant performance crushed Frosinone with a mega goleada 5-0 at the Gewiss Stadium. In the 83rd minute, the poker, an effective change of play by Pasalic who catches Zappacosta, then perfect control from the substitute winger who beats Turati with an effective shot. In the 90th minute, it is Holm who signs the 5-0.
