Countdown for Italy debut in the 2014 FIFA World Cup!  Italy Head Coach Cesare Prandelli having a double training session in Mangaratiba on Wednesday 11 June  with the Azzurri ahead of the debut against England on Saturday 14 June.

As reported by the Italian Football Federation, the first session begins at 9:30 am local time (2:30 pm Italian time) and will be open to the press for the first 60 minutes.  The conditions of Marco Verratti have to be checked since he hasn’t taken part in the last sessions due to a slight case of the flu, while goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu, who was back training with his teammates yesterday, seems to have fully recovered from the rib problem that kept him at rest during the past few days.
