Italian Soccer Serie A
39% Ball Possession Parma and 61% Ball Possession NAPOLI
Parma 0 – 2 Napoli
. 64′ Dries Mertens
. 77′ Lorenzo Insigne
Parma starting the 2020-2021 Season with the wrong foot. Parma lost the Serie A Week 1 game defeated by Napoli on Sunday 20 September 2020 at the Ennio Tardini Stadium in Parma, Italy. Napoli conquered the Tardini grabbing this important away victory to claim all 3 points.
Surely, this is a sour debut for Parma Coach Fabio Liverani and a disappointment for new Parma owner Kyle Krause. The party is all for Napoli Coach Gennaro Gattuso starting the season with the right foot. The highlight of the match is Captain Lorenzo Insigne playing his 350th game with Napoli and what a way to celebrate than by scoring a goal!!!!
Napoli opening the score in the 64th minute. It is forward Dries Mertens to defeat Parma goalkeeper Sepe with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.

With today's goal, @Lor_Insigne becomes the second @en_sscnapoli player in the three-point era to score in three consecutive opening day fixtures, after Marek Hamsik (2011/12, 2012/13 and 2013/14). #ForzaNapoliSempre
