AC Milan secured a victory against Empoli at the Carlo Castellani Stadium. This loss is particularly hard for Empoli as they inch closer to the relegation zone. For Milan, this marks their second consecutive win across both the Coppa Italia and Serie A, allowing them to rise to seventh place, temporarily surpassing Bologna, who will be facing Lecce tomorrow. They are now just five points behind fourth-placed Juventus, with a game in hand, while keeping an eye on Lazio and Fiorentina, who could potentially move ahead of Juventus in the standings.
