AC Milan got the job done and won the Serie A Week 31 game on Sunday 23 April 2023 at San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy. Five minutes later, the Salentini had the biggest chance of their game with Banda, who headed the post from close range following an assist from Gendrey. Pioli’s team reacts and takes the lead in the 40th minute with Leao’s header from Tonali’s cross, an action born from a pattern from a corner kick. In the second half Baroni inserts Strefezza to increase the danger of his team and the number 27 tries to frighten Maignan with a right-footed shot from outside, rejected by the French goalkeeper. Between the 73rd and 74th minute, then, Leao comes on again, who first tries to overtake Falcone with a lob and then scores his personal brace with one of his classic plays: he starts from midfield, runs away from Hjulmand, enters the area, he moves the ball to the right and crosses with his left foot, scoring the final 2-0 for the Rossoneri.
