Lazio failing to win the UEFA Europa League Group Stage Matchday 3 game defeated by Celtic on Thursday 24 October at the Celtic Park in Glasgow, Scotland.  It’s just a pity because Lazio was leading the game only to succumb to the pressure and losing the game.

The situation is complicated and Lazio will need to win at least the next game, and again, against Celtic but this time at the Olimpico Stadium to climb the Group E Standing. Celtic is in the first position with 7 points and a positive goal difference of +3.  CFR is in the second position with  6 points and a “0” goal difference.   Lazio is in the third position with 3 points and a negative goal difference of -1.  Stade Rennais is in the last position with 1 point and a negative goal difference of -2.

It is Lazio to open the score in the 40th minute.  Manuel Lazzari defeating Celtic goalkeeper Forster with a right footed shot in the high center.  The assist is by Joaquín Correa following a fast break.  Let’s go Lazio!!!!!!  Forza ragazzi!!!!!

NO!!!!  Celtic equalized for the 1-1 in the 67th minute.  It is Ryan Christie to defeat Lazio goalkeeper with a left footed shot  in the top right corner.  The assist is by Odsonne Edouard. What a luck!!!

Say what???!!!!  Celtic overturning the result and claimed the victory!!!   In the 89th minute, Christopher Jullien with a headed shot in the bottom left corner!!!  I cannot believe it….  The assist is by Ryan Christie with a cross following a corner conceded by Denis Vavro.
