Here are the lastest news among the original 28 Italian called up players for the FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Liechtenstein on Saturday 12 November 2016 in Vaduz and the friendly match against Germany on Tuesday 15 November 2016 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.

As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio has left the Italian squad.  Reportedly, Marchisio has an injury to a joint in his left leg and Italy Head Coach Gian Piero Ventura has decided to rest him as a precautionary measure. In the late morning, the player will return home and make himself available to his club.

Ventura has called up Roberto Gagliardini from Atalanta and Armanda Izzo of Genoa.  They will arrive at the training facility in Coverciano during the day on Monday 7 November.  It’s the first senior call-up for both players although Izzo did take place in the preparation camp for the finals of Euro 2016 in France.  An early replacement also made with Fiorentina defender Davide Astori replacing Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli who had injured during the Serie A Week 12 game Chievo Verona vs Juventus on Sunday 6 November.

Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura will direct the first training of the Italian National Team on Monday 7 November 2016 at the Technical Center in Coverciano.   There will be a press conference with Ventura at 13:30.  Training is scheduled at 15:00 and will be open to the media for the first 20 minutes.

Italy head coach Giampiero Ventura has called up 28 players for the FIFA World Cup qualifying fixture against Liechtenstein on Saturday 12 November 2016 and the friendly match against Germany on Tuesday 15 November 2016 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.

The news among the called  up players is that Matteo Politano and Danilo Cataldi have both been called up for the first time (Cataldi has previously taken part in a training camp in the lead up to EURO 2016).  Good news is the return of Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio who has been absent since the friendly against Romania on 17th November 2015.  Among the selected players there is also Marco Parolo, however he will miss the game against Liechtenstein due to a suspension.

The Italian team will gather on Sunday 6 November before their first training session on Monday at 15:00 CEST at the national training facility. As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the team will leave for Vaduz on Friday 11 November the day before the match at the Rheinpark Stadium the next day at 20:45 CEST. It will be the first meeting ever between the two countries. On Sunday 13th November, the team will head to Milan before moving to the training ground at Milanello where they will prepare for the Germany friendly on Tuesday 15th November at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza at 20:45 CEST.

Juventus making the first substitution due to injury in the 5th minute.   Defender Leonardo Bonucci is replacing injured  Andrea Barzagli.  It’s a pity as Barzagli was one of the most awaited players being an ex-Chievo player.  Precisely, Barzagli made his debut in Serie A in the game Brescia 1-1 Chievo Verona on August 31, 2003.

Juventus opening the score in the 53rd minute.   It is forward Mario Mandzukic to defeat Chievo Verona goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.  The assist is by Colombian midfielder Juan Cuadrado.

The time for Chievo Verona iconic symbol.  Forward Sergio Pellissier replacing Mariano Izco in the 61st minute.

Referee giving a penalty to Chievo Verona in the 65th minute conceded by Juventus defender Stephan Lichsteiner getting a yellow card after a foul on Sergio Pellissier.  Taking the penalty spot is Pellissier and there you go GOOOOAAALLLLLL.   Pellissier defeating Juventus goakeeper Gigi Buffon with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner  while Buffon went to the other side.   Pellissier scoring his 99th goal in Serie A celebrating in grand style his 400th game in Serie A.

Juventus taking the lead again in the 75th minute.  This time is midfielder Miralem Pjanic to delight Juve fans with this right footed free kick shot defeating Chievo goalkeeper Sorrentino in the top right corner.
