The Nerazzurri took the lead after a quarter of an hour with Lautaro Martinez, in the second half, in two minutes, Frattesi and the Argentine again closed the game. The fourth goal was scored by De Vrij who rounded off the result with a header shot. And Lecce? Ooops… it seems they forgot to react.

Stats before the game: Lecce have recorded only one victory in the last 15 matches against Inter in Serie A (3D, 11P), remaining eight times without a goal in the set, including the last two matches, both of which ended 2-0 for the Nerazzurri. Lecce remained unbeaten in three of the last four home games against Inter in Serie A (1W, 2D), even if the defeat came in the last match at Via del Mare, losing 2-1 on the first matchday of last year championship.
