The third day training in UCLA  included goalkeeper Iker Casillas and defender Sergio Ramos joining the team after their FIFA World Cup participation with Spain National team, as well as midfielder Luka Modric participating with Croatia National team.  All three players joining their teammates to prepare the new season.

Training starting with warm up while on one side goalkeepers training.  Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas acclaimed by the fans immediately after making his entrance ….

Training focused on ball work, physical warm-up and muscle strengthening exercises. Goalkeepers worked with Villiam Vecchi. Players also worked on quick ball circulation with one-touch combinations, crosses, shooting and demanding half-pitch games everything under the observation of coach Ancelotti.

It seems Sergio Ramos and Pepe returned full of energy because they were unstoppable during training.  Ramos always with a smile and feeling the hot  weather just rolled up his shorts like  mini shorts.    Pepe with his new hairstyle look…  The atmosphere positive with players looking to impress his coach  for a spot  in the lineup in these upcoming games against Inter Milan and AS Roma.

Here is the eternal “Rossonero” … Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti arriving to the the training field….

Inter Campus, a constant presence even in the most remote regions

< ![CDATA[

NKONGSAMBA – At one time it was the colonial centre for coffee in Cameroon, but today it is a rather worn-down city, almost forgotten by the authorities. Some of our friends from Cameroon even call it a “cursed city”, as if it attracted misfortune. Yet Nkongsamba, to the north-east of Douala – a city that amongst other things gave birth to one of Inter’s treble heroes Samuel Eto’o – welcomed the Inter Campus staff and activities with great joy.

The local coaches and children participated en masse in the games and training activities organised, as if to prove the gossip-mongers rumours wrong with their actions and enthusiasm. The weather was cool for the short rainy season, which helped Inter Campus coaches Alberto Giacomini, Silvio Guareschi and Fabio Perfetti – always tireless both in the classroom and on the training pitch – go about their tasks.

A lot of useful preparation work was done by local contact Francis Kammogne, our partner at the Centre Sportif Camerounais, associated with the Educational Guidance Centre in Barzio (Centro Orientamento Educativo – COE). Some of the local coaches, as is typical in these places, turned up right at the last moment for the Coaches’ Training Course, and finding food and accommodation for forty people in a place so lacking in facilities and infrastructure is not easy. It all went off well in the end though, and the gratitude was unanimous and genuine – perhaps precisely because it is so rare to find people willing to come back regularly and work in overlooked locations like this.

Set plays, speed work and a game before Real clash

< ![CDATA[

WASHINGTON, DC – The Nerazzurri had their final training session on the East Coast this morning before flying to California ahead of tomorrow’s International Champions Cup meeting with Real Madrid. The team’s preparations for the European champions involved a warm-up, tactical work on dead-ball situations, drills focusing on speed and then a game on a short pitch to end.

Mateo Kovacic trained alone due to a minor calf problem.

This afternoon Inter will make the trip across to Oakland on the other side of the States. Tomorrow’s match against Carlo Ancelotti’s side kicks off at 15:00 local time (midnight CET).

Inter and Nike unveil new away kit for 2014/15 season

< ![CDATA[

MILAN – For the 2014/15 season Inter will play in a new away kit boldly proclaiming their status as the true team of Milan.

The new away shirt has a ribbed crew neck collar and is white with a tonal light grey graphic on the front consisting of lines which create a St George’s cross from the city of Milan’s coat of arms.

Inside the back of the neck is a pennant tab featuring the proud message “Milano E’ Solo Inter” (Milan is only Inter). It is written in a specially designed font, which has been used by the Nerazzurri’s most committed fans on flags and banners inside the San Siro since the 1970s.

On the back of the neck is another St George’s cross to once again proudly represent the city of Milan’s coat of arms.

The new away kit is completed by white shorts and socks.

While this new kit features Nike’s signature design details, it also offers players the very latest in performance innovation, kit technology and environmental sustainability.

The new home kit will be available on sale from 26 July on nike.com, store.inter.it, in Nike Stores, SoloInterStore and selected shops.
