SAINT-ÉTIENNE – In the run-up to Saint-Étienne v Inter, Nerazzurri vice-president Javier Zanetti gave a short interview to SportMediaset: “Tonight, we have a great opportunity to emerge from quite a tough period. The entire staff is working hard and I hope that we can put in a good performance. We must concentrate on tonight’s match, then we can focus on Sunday. We’ll have some players back by then.
“Right now, it’s vital that we ensure qualification – then we can think about Serie A. The most important thing is what we produce on the field of play. As a club, we’ve shown great faith in the coach and in the squad; everything is in place for us to do well. The lads have a great chance tonight to show that this team can do well. We’ll get through this together.”
