MILAN – Saturday sees the last league match of the calendar year for Stefano Vecchi’s Primavera side, who take on Hellas Verona at the Stadio Comunale in Vigasio (Via Alzeri, Verona) at 14:30. The young Nerazzurri will be hoping for a good result to set them up for their Tim Cup quarter-final against Roma before Christmas.
The Berretti also have an away day to contend with as they meet Reggiana at Reggio Emilia’s Stadio Mirabello in via Matteotti 2. Marco Sala’s Esordienti side also play on Saturday, welcoming Alcione to the Accademia Inter in via Cilea 51.
Stefano Bellinzaghi’s Giovanissimi Nazionali kick off Sunday’s action. They face Lumezzane at the Centro Sportivo Giacinto Faccetti in via Sbarbaro 5/7, with a start time of 11:00. Later in the afternoon, Benoit Cauet’s Allievi Nazionali Serie A and B side welcome Carpi to the same venue (kick-off at 14:30).
The Giovanissimi Regionali take on Atalanta at the Centro Sportivo Enotria (via C. Cazzaniga 26, Milan), with kick-off scheduled for 15:00. At the same time, the Giovanissimi Regionali B face a clash with Feralpisalò at the Centro Sportivo Bruzzano (via Comasina 115, Milan).
MILAN – The 2014/15 UEFA Europa League group stage is now over and Inter finished top of Group F ahead of Dnipro. That means the Nerazzurri will be seeded along with all the other group winners when the draw for the round of 32 (19 and 26 February 2015) takes place in Nyon on Monday 15 December 2014 at 13:00 CET.
Roberto Mancini’s men will be paired with one of the runners-up from the Europa League group stage draw or one of the four ‘worst’ third-ranked sides from the Champions League. Considering that no team can play a club from their group or a side from the same association, there are 13 potential names in the pots for Inter.
Here’s the full list of possible last 32 opponents: Villarreal CF (ESP), Tottenham Hotspur FC (ENG), Celtic FC (SCO), PSV Eindhoven (NED), Sevilla FC (ESP), VfL Wolfsburg (GER), BSC Young Boys (SUI), Aalborg BK (DEN), EA Guingamp (FRA), Trabzonspor A? (TUR), RSC Anderlecht (BEL), AFC Ajax (NED), Liverpool FC (ENG).
