✅  Stats before the game: Udinese have remained unbeaten in their last 13 matches against Genoa in the top flight (6W, 7D): it is the longest unbeaten streak ever for the Friulians against a single opponent in Serie A. Genoa have not won any of the last 13 Serie A matches against Udinese (7N, 6P), drawing all the most recent four; the last longest series of consecutive matches for the Grifone without finding success was against Roma, between 2014 and 2022 (16), while they have not had five matches in a row against a single opponent in the competition since 1990, against Florentine. Genoa have won only one of the last nine home matches against Udinese in Serie A, compared to six draws and two defeats – the success in this part came on 21 February 2016, 2-1 with goals from Alessio Cerci and Diego Laxalt (Ali Adnan for the Friulians), under the management of Gian Piero Gasperini. Udinese have not won any of their last five Serie A away matches against opponents on the right side of the table at the start of the day (D3, L2) – their last away win against these teams dates back to 11 March 2023, 1-0 against Empoli, thanks to a goal by Rodrigo Becão. Genoa have lost only one of their last 10 championship games (W3, D6): 1-4 against Atalanta on February 11th, in the most recent one played at Ferraris.
