UEFA announcing the match officials for the game Italy vs Belgium to be played on Monday 13 June 2016. UEFA have assigned referee Mark Clattenburg from England to officiate the match. Clattenburg will be assisted by Simon Beck and Jake Collin also from England. The goalline officials will be the English duo of Anthony Taylor and Andre Marriner while the fourth official is Carlos Del Cerro from Spain.
Clattenburg refereed the 2016 Champions League final between Real and Atletico Madrid at the San Siro Stadium.

Countdown for Italy debut in the UEFA EURO 2016. It’s -1 day for the debut on Monday 13 June for the awaited match Italy vs Belgium. A day before, Italy Head Coach Antonio Conte highly motivated for the match. Conte, well aware that the team will need more than grit and character to defeat Belgium.
Italy team adventure in the EURO 2016 begins in Lyon where they arrived late this afternoon from Montpellier in a specially chartered flight. Conte saying, “We made the finishing touches to our preparation for tomorrow’s game this morning. I’m really excited personally because these are important occasions that I experienced as a player and that I’m now experiencing as a coach. It’s a moment of great pride and satisfaction but also of responsibility. I’m very happy with how we’ve worked.”
As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), Conte gave nothing away about Italy’s tactics for tomorrow. Belgium head coach Wilmots did not provide any indications about his starting eleven to journalists and labelled Italy as a “team full of warriors” shortly before the Azzurri’s press conference. Conte replied, saying “We’ll all be warriors on the pitch, not just us but Belgium as well. It will be important to use our heads in order to put into practice what we’ve been doing in training. When you play in a tournament like this, you feel a whole nation behind you. We’ll be 46 warriors, 23 from Italy and 23 from Belgium.”
Conte adding that “Belgium are among the favourites for the tournament. They have very few weaknesses and it isn’t true that their defence is in crisis. When we played them in the friendly, it was an open, entertaining game. They have wonderful attacking midfielders and defenders. Look at which clubs they play for and you’ll understand.”

Italy’s legendary goalkeeper will be up against several stellar attackers tomorrow starting with Eden Hazard: “He said he wanted to play with me? It’s nice to hear those words but it will be difficult to play alongside one another. It’s a sign of appreciation that really makes me proud. He is one of the few players in Europe who can decide a match. He has an innate, breathtaking talent. I think he’s Belgium’s number one threat.”

Countdown for Italy for their first game in the UEFA EURO 2016 against Belgium scheduled on Monday 13 June 2016 in Lyon, France at 21:00. As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the Italian team had their final training at the Bernard Gasset Center on Sunday 12 June before their departure to Lyon. The session was open to the press for the first 15 minutes preceded by a video analysis session.
The Italian team highly motivated and attending the training were the President of the Italian Football Federation Carlo Tavecchio aned CEO Michele Uva.
The Azzurri are expected to transfer to Montpellier’s Airport at 17.20 to depart to Lyon at 18:10. The team is scheduled to arrive in Lyon around 19:00 and then will go to the Stadium.
Italy Head Coach Antonio Conte and captain Gianluigi Buffon are set to meet the press at 19:45 CEST at the Stade de Lyon. The Italian team will also inspect the field of play before it hosts tomorrow’s match with Belgium. CONI president Giovanni Malagò, secretary general Roberto Fabbricini, IOC member Mario Pescanta, Italy’s ambassador to France Giandomenico Magliano and the consul general to Lyon Giulio Marongiu are all expected to attend the match.
President Tavecchio saying at Casa Azzurri, “I’m not sure where we’ll end up but I am convinced that we will do well. We’ll certainly play to win like always and we’ll accept the final result. There is the right sense of tension, the group is united and Conte dominates everything with his usual style and ability. The boys are focused, but in moments of free time they’re enjoying themselves by playing billiards and ping pong. They’ve been a close-knit group after two years of spending time and working together and Conte counts a lot on this.”
As for the incidents happening in Marseille around the game England vs Russia, “It’s a disgrace, tensions and ignorance from a section of society manifest themselves in football. In situations like this, the sale of alcohol should be limited or even completely banned.”
