Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 37 Results / Thirty-seventh Round on Saturday 18, Sunday 19, and Monday 20 May 2019. There is only 1 game after this one to end the season on Sunday 26 May.
Here is the current situation. Juventus is the winner of the 2018-2019 Serie A Scudetto. Juventus were awarded the Scudetto at the Allianz Stadium following the 1 – 1 draw against Atalanta. Highlight of the game is the goodbye of Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli receiving a standing ovation.

AS Roma wasted the chance to win the away game at the Mapei Stadium against Sassuoo. The game ended with a goalless draw sharing one point each. Problem is that AS Roma needed all 3 points to climb the ladder. Ironically, Roma defeated Juventus last week, but failed to shine today. Bottom line, the battle for a spot in the Champions League next season is still open for Atalanta, AS Roma, AC Milan, and it will be decided maybe in the last game. Roma are in the fifth position being two points behind Atalanta, who will play against Juventus in Turin on Sunday, and if AC Milan defeat Frosinone, Roma will go down to the 6th position.
Napoli crushed Inter with a 4 – 1 at the San Paolo Stadium. It is a painful defeat for Inter because they also lost the 3rd position! Inter stepped down to the 4th position with points while Atalanta went up from the 4th to the 3rd position after their 1 – 1 draw with Juventus. The battle for the 3rd and 4th position will be decided in the last game between Atalanta, Inter, and AC Milan.
Good news for AC Milan claiming an important home victory because they went up from the 6th position to the 5th position. Milan defeated Frosinone with a 2 – 0 at the San Siro Stadium. The Champions League spot is still open and will be decided in the last game.
Mathematically speaking, the two teams already relegated to the Serie B are Chievo Verona and Frosinone. Good news is for Bologna securing the salvation to remain in the Serie A next season after the draw at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium ending Lazio 3 – 3.
Genoa and Cagliari ended the game with a 1 – 1 draw. It’s a good result for Cagliari because they are saved, but for Genoa, it is a bad result still risking to be relegated. Bad news for Genoa going down to the relegation zone in the 18th position. Good news is for Empoli, for the moment saved. Empoli went up from the 18th to the 17th position. Empoli with 38 points is 1 point above Empoli with 37 points.
Udinese defeated SPAL with a 3 – 2 at the Friuli Stadium.
